Looks like Mike might be able to go home tomorrow….at least, that is the plan right now. The liver specialist is going to check his fluid levels for infection and if all looks okay, he can go home.

We are not going to see an oncologist until next week. We could have seen someone from the oncology team today or tomorrow but the liver specialist would rather us meet directly with the doctor which means sometime next week. Mike and I are both okay with this…we feel we’ve had enough to absorb this week. New week…new things to deal with.

Mike’s hanging in there…very tired as he’s not sleeping well with the pain in the back still. I worry about that problem once we get home. He sleeps sitting up. I guess that recliner will get it’s use!!
